Recently my brother and sister-in-law had a bouncing baby boy. Since it was their 4th child, they didn’t really need anymore baby blankets or clothes so the usual baby gifts were out. Therefore, I decided to buy them something that they could enjoy too. I sent them this fun personalized wooden rocking horse filled with a dozen gourmet cookies on stems. They were thrilled with the gift and said the cookies were great. In fact, my sister-in-law said that the peanut butter cookies were the ‘best she’s ever had’. When we went to Ohio to visit over Christmas, I saw that she had the rocking horse sitting in Jeremy’s room atop a small dresser. She had filled it with little stuffed animals and toys that he can use when he gets a bit older. It makes a great keepsake because I had the company put his name, birth date and weight on the wooden horse as well. I’ll definitely be using this gift again in the future when I need a unique baby gift that Mom & Dad can enjoy during those restless nights with a newborn.
You can buy the Personalized Wooden Horse Baby Bouquet from Baby Gifts & Gift Baskets for $70 to $82 (depending on the number of cookies) plus shipping. It is available in a pink version for little baby girls too.
