After giving birth to her 5th child, my sister wanted a unique birth announcement. She found these delicious biscotti favors at www.baby-gifts-gift-baskets.com. We all received a fresh biscotti favor that had my niece’s name and birth date surrounded by Belgian White Chocolate and tasty pink sprinkles. What impressed me the most was the delicate writing on each biscotti – it wasn’t smeared or smudged, and the individual gift boxes were cute too. She said they arrived individually packaged and ready to give out so that was one less thing she had to worry about with a new baby to take care of. At $3.95 apiece, they are a bit more expensive than a paper or photo announcement, but it was a non-traditional way to announce my new niece’s arrival – and went quite well with a cup of coffee!
