I’m so very proud of my husband – after 12 years of marriage he’s finally discovered the perfect surprise gift for me!  He knows I have an insatiable sweet tooth, and that I prefer unique flowers rather than traditional ones, so when he presented me with this floral box I was both stunned and elated!  The box looks like a standard floral box that would hold a dozen long stem roses.  But to my delight, when I opened the box I was rewarded with a dozen long-stemmed cookies.  The cookies came in a gourmet assortment that included chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, white chocolate macadamia, and double chocolate.  The presentation was unique – with greenery and actual stems on the cookies, the cookies were delightful – soft, chewy and fresh-baked, and my husband’s thoughtfulness was over the top – this was one of the best gifts he has ever given me!  Of course I had to peek to see how much he spent, and was happy to see that the dozen cookie box was only $44.

Celebrate Independence Day this year with a colorful and tasty treat.  The folks at Holiday Gifts & Gift Baskets have put together a patriotic cookie bouquet that is a perfect centerpiece for your 4th of July party table!  With overnight shipping available, this bouquet can still arrive before the week-end.  It’s available with 3 to 12 jumbo buttercreme cookies decorated in bright red, white and blue.  The cookies themselves are crisp and tasty, they even come with instructions on how to enjoy them warm and soft!  Our taste testers each gave this cookie bouquet 5 stars for taste, 4 stars for presentation (one tester had issues with the blue tissue paper not matching the blue icing), and 5 stars for originality.  Overall the bouquet was a hit in the office!  We ordered the 9 cookie bouquet for $61.

My boys have been begging me to take them to the beach in town, but the water temps aren’t very warm yet and I’m a wimp when it comes to cold water!  So last week-end we set up the Slip N Slide in the back yard, set out our lawn chairs, invited the neighborhood kids over and had a “beach party” at home!  I made some sandwiches and ordered this cookie pail for snack time, and the kids loved it.  They even stopped whining about going to the real beach for a while!

The cookie pail was a hit with the kids, they each got to choose a different flavor to go along with their picnic lunch.  There was even a few leftover for me to review!  I tried an Oatmeal Raisin and a Frosted Cut-Out, which were both moist and delicious.  The $33 pail was filled with 18 assorted cookies that were all individually packaged, so they were fresh and would be easy to transport to the beach if the water is warmer where you are!

The old saying from Mary Poppins still holds true, “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!”  So when my girlfriend was recovering from minor surgery I sent this tasty gift to entice her to take her medicine!  She loved the personal gift card that we were able to include, and told me that the cookies were even better then the ones her mother makes!  The doctor-themed tote was sturdy and filled to the brim with:

  • fourteen assorted cookies
  • yogurt covered pretzels
  • white chocolate “aspirin”
  • chocolate truffle bar
  • Dr. Feelgood snack mix
  • caramel corn
  • chicken soup
  • tea
  • puzzle book and pencil

I ordered the large size for $62 plus $12.50 shipping.  It only took 2 days to arrive and my friend was thrilled with both the presentation and the goodies inside!

My family celebrates every milestone with food – so when my aunt was looking for a sweet gift to send to her niece after she had a baby, I recommended this cookie bouquet offered by one of my favorite online retailers.  The chocolate chip cookies in this bouquet are fresh, huge and melt in your mouth!  My aunt ordered a dozen regular cookies accented in pink, and the tasty bouquet arrived in 2 days.  This bouquet is also available with sugar-free cookies, and you can choose if the item is for a boy or girl.  A dozen cookies with the ceramic base sells for $41.

I always look forward to graduation parties – it gives us a chance to visit with friends and family and share in some delicious summer foods!  My favorite course would have to be dessert – and last year we attended a graduation celebration that included some very unique desserts.  It was a relatively small gathering, and each table had a cookie bouquet for the centerpiece, which also served as the dessert for the party.  The bouquets were iced to match the graduate’s class colors, and each center cookie included his name.  The bouquets were so cute and decorative that we hated to break them up to eat them – but we did!  The cookies were moist and tasty and the graduate was pleased because he wanted a memorable party and this centerpiece certainly contributed to it.

A bouquet like this can be ordered with 3, 5, 7, 9 or 12 cookies, with prices ranging from $28 to $82.  If you would like to order in bulk, these cookies can also be made into individually-wrapped favors for as little as $4.50 apiece.  Just contact Gourmet Cookie Bouquets and they would be happy to assist with any custom order!

Earlier this spring my nephew Logan broke his leg during baseball practice.  He was sliding under a tag at 2nd base when the second baseman accidentally landed on his leg, giving him a hairline fracture.  He was so disappointed that he could not participate in baseball this season and became very bored very quickly!  To cheer him up a bit we sent him this fun goodie tin, filled with fresh baked cookies, candy and snacks.  My sister said that Logan loved the tin and he kept it hidden in his room so he wouldn’t have to share with his brothers and sister!  Logan did let his mom try one of the cookies (the peanut butter one), and she said it was fresh, moist and delicious!  The reusable tin arrived very quickly and cost only $8.95 to ship.  The tin itself is priced at $30 and you can choose from 6 different cookie flavors.
