Diabetic Scarecrow Gift

Author: admin

My grandpa is a diabetic so it’s sometimes hard to find treats that fall within his dietary guidelines.  Luckily I was able to find this fun pumpkin planter filled with sugar-free treats for his autumn birthday.  He loved the apple chips and sugar-free jelly beans, and the cute scarecrow and pumpkin are now a great centerpiece on his kitchen table.

The gift included toasted wheat crackers, apple chips, sugar-free Jelly Belly jelly beans, sugar-free wafer cookie, sugar-free chocolate bar and some sugar-free hard candies.  I was able to get all of this for $37 plus $8.95 for shipping.

Sweetest Day Cookies

Don’t forget Sweetest Day on October 20th!  Send the sweetest person you know a lovely and delicious arrangement of cookies from Holiday Gifts & Gift Baskets.  The colorful ceramic pot holds a dozen chocolate chip cookies, which are also available sugar-free (if your sweetie doesn’t need the extra sugar).  Tucked within the cookies is a bag of Skittles and a cute card announcing Happy Sweetest Day - all for only $37.  For those who tend to forget holidays, register as a returning customer on this site and create Event Reminders, so you will get an email “nudge” when an important date is nearing!

Happy Day Sugar Free CookiesIf you have a friend or family member with diabetes, you know how difficult it can be to find gourmet gifts that they can actually eat. Since my grandmother and some of my uncles are diabetic, I’m always on the lookout for beautiful gourmet gifts that are sugar free so when I came across the sugar free cookie selection at Gourmet Cookie Bouquets, I was thrilled. Many of their colorful chocolate chip cookie bouquets are also available with sugar free chocolate chip cookies.

The Happy Day Cookie Bouquet comes with 8, 12, 18, 24 or 36 fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies that are individually wrapped in brightly colored cellophane and then artfully arranged in a wicker basket. We ordered the 18 sugar-free cookie basket for $37 plus shipping. Ordering was easy and the basket was delivered in a large white shipping box by DHL in just a few days. Upon opening the box, we found the lovely basket which was shrink wrapped (in addition to the individual wrappings on the cookies) to keep everything held together during delivery. It arrived in excellent condition and pretty much looked like the photo on their website. The cookies themselves each had a little ’sugar free’ label on the back which is great for diabetics concerned about whether they can eat the cookies or not. I shared them with some diabetic friends and they said the cookies tasted good and stayed fresh for quite a while. They were all happy which made me happy. So I’d recommend this gift for those friends and family that have special sugar free dietary needs.
